About this model
This is a 3d Printed fishing lure I designed my self in fusion 360. To the best of my knowledge this is the first of its kind. For this bait I wanted a rain bait imitation. Rain bait for those of you who don't know, rain bait is a general term used for small baitfish that splash around on the top of the water making it look like it is raining. On the north east coast this Is usually the bay anchovy. I molded this directly after an artist rendition of one. rather than utilize a normal tail design, I used a fork tail. This is so the lure can be worked very quickly and have a nice action while doing so. For me this lure is primarily made for fluke (summer flounder), bonita and false albacore. However it should work for a variety of inshore saltwater species around the world. The files here ar…
