This topplate gives 50mm of space betwen the topplate and the ram on the asus rog strix b550-i and is only 5mm thicker than the stock topplate the fans/rad will presses down the ram latch at 50mm so 45mm without pressing down the ram latch it allowed me to top mount a 25mm thick 240 rad with two fullsized 25mm fans. I have not experienced any issues with the being latch pressed down I dont have a dual rad setup but as you can see in the pictures it would probably be possible to mount a side rad without physical interference air flow might be slighly hampered on the 240 mm top rad if you mount a 280 on the side
