I didn't like the stock lamp mount, especially that you assemble the lamp simply by sliding the "shaft" into really loose hole in the mount without any additional secure. I can imagine situation when I smash the lamp by accident, shaft slips out of the base and lamp falls on my desk, damaging something. So I decided to deisgn a more reliable mount. To assemble everything you will need: - 6 pcs. 2,9 mm x 16 mm self tapping screws - 1 pcs. M4 x 15 pan head screw - some thick grease (not necessary, but highly recommended. Without grease parts will be squeaking during movement) Assembly is pretty simple: - put everything together using self tapping screws.
