Ruger 10/22 10-22 Single Shot Adapter BX1 BX-1 by Concorde October 09, 2020 re-imagined as a Chamber Safety Flag by adding a barrier where a round would sit. The barrier extends upward to block the chamber opening and to prevent the firing mechanism from approaching the chamber. Though a typical chamber safety flag shaped like a .22LR round can work in this firearm, releasing the bolt is a bit finicky. This project takes an alternative approach to the safety flag by emulating the magazine itself. Though it does not actually insert material into the barrel to preclude a round being present, when it is installed, one is able to visually confirm that the bolt cannot advance to fire a round.
