About this model
The Neptune 4 MAX uses M4 bolt for the bed support with a thread pitch of 0.8mm. This means that by dividing the circumference of the knob into 8 segments, moving the knob by 1/8 rotation will raise or lower the bed by 0.1mm. Each segment is divided into 5 sub-segments, each moving the bed by 0.02mm. keep in mind this is plastic so before you install them but a hex bit in a drill and spin them back and forth a while tell the knob spins freely on the screw ( i did not have to do it to mine but......) on my brothers we had to put some 5 minute epoxy on the cap side of the screw to lock the screw into place and yes after one of the screws cured we broke it free again without issue just to make sure we could by the way looking at the printer the back LEFT side knob can NOT be replaced with one…
