About this model
Planning a Harry Potter themed birthday party for an 11-year-old, the idea of an area designated as a wand shop led me to want to make "otherworldly" display stand for wands. I turned a few wands on a lathe and built this to hold them. I printed one as modeled and one mirrored so it is like eerie, inhuman, skeletal hands offering the wands to the customers. I actually printed the bases on my filament printer and the rack bits on my resin printer for better detail on the fingers and claws. I think the ones in the photo are printed at 125% because my turned wands were a little bigger than looked good at 100%.
