About this model
I made this panel for use with a round electroluminescent panel I got for making calibration frames for my small refractor telescopes. This is based on the Astrophotography 5in EL Panel Circle Flat Frame Kit I bought from Ellumiglow: This kit comes with a 5" round EL panel and a frosted white acrylic panel to diffuse the light. It also has a 9V inverter with adjustable brightness. The EL panel has a built-in cord and connector with a fairly long wire and my panel has an area where I wind up the cord. I included a version without the cord area if you cut and splice your cord short. I use mine with my Samyang 135mm refractor using an offset adapter, but have included several other adapters in various sizes, based on a database of dew shield sizes I found online.
