About this model
Swinging throne door for 1983 Kenner Jabba the Hutt Playset. Mine only has one left that I used to make this and based on photos I see online both doors are identical, no mirroring etc. I couldn't think of a way to print this without crazy supports so my solution was to print in 2 parts and super glue them together. I first sank it 5.26 mm down the Z-axis so the flat part rested directly on the build plate, then flipped it upside down and sank it 1.99 mm into the build plate to get the rim. I printed the top in 0.12 mm layer height due to the rounded edges (though all the internal edges made for a long print time), and printed the rim at 0.28 mm layer height. Filament was Paramount 3D PLA in Military Khaki
