About this model
This is a set of parts that can be used to build a 8mm film scanner. It uses any SLR camera that has a remote jack (usually a 2.5mm plug) to allow for remote shooting. The film movement is governed by an Arduino that runs two servos for film movement and one switch that reads the film gate, telling Arduino that a frame is on the spot to be captured. This set does not include the camera battery replacement part, because it is unique to each camera type. All other printed parts are included.
