About this model
My friend owns an antique katana and he wanted to display it nicely on his wall in a sturdy, but minimalist pair of holders. So I created this two-piece holder involving a hidden mount that is screwed into the wall. The main body of the holder slides over top of the mount, completely concealing the mount and the screws and giving a smooth look. The OpenScad file contains the code for generating the holder and mount, in case someone wants to tweak the dimensions or adapt for a different purpose. It is made specifically to fit my friend's sheathed katana. A variable in the file controls whether the holder or the mount object is created.
