Used for drilling the right holes for both shielded and bare 35 mm concealed hinges. 7" long so that lining up with the door top/bottom gives the same 3.5" from either end. 35 mm large hole (1 3/8" will do in a pinch), 5/16" smaller holes for insert hinges, or ~1/16" pilot hole for screw-on.
