About this model
I bought a Chinese F450 clone to learn about the art of building and flying a drone and soon found out that one of my major talents was to break the legs due to tough landings :-) I looked at Thingiverse to find ready made models and found among other things this site and used the long leg models from this "thing" for a while (many, many thanks for publishing!). When I added a gimbal and a camera the weight of course increased but also the free distance between the camera and the ground became very small. To remedy this I designed a pair of longer legs (about 20 mm higher) which also are quite a bit stronger due to increased width and closed arm panels. This is thus a new design but with ideas from the various other versions around. To simplify printing, the attachment plate is asymetrical…
