About this model
This is my IR turret on treads. This is a "Hack" of the HackPack IR turret - Box #1, it also uses components from the Domino Robot - Box 2 (i.e. DC Motors and H-bridge) for the drive system. The files included here should be what you need to print the treads, tread frames and chassis. I used 3.5mm heated inserts to connect "Tread Frame" to the "Tread Frame Outside" but I also included a piece called "Frame outside just screw" for small screws HOWEVER I have not tested this yet and do not know if it works. Alternatively (I suppose) you could use super glue to hold the pieces together. Assembly should be straight forward using the plastic bolts included for the leg assemblies from original turret.
