About this model
Key fob for an aftermarket remote car starter. When printing, I used a brim, supports, and 4 or 5 perimeter layers (enough to make sure the area around the screw holes print solid) with a 0.1 mm layer height. Took about an hour and 20 minutes on my printer. Things are kind of a tight fit between the plastic and internal components, so just be aware. Assembly Notes: 1. In the original key fob, there are three pegs on the top half that stick out and go through the rubber membrane. Since those pegs are too small/weak to print, the bottom instead has three holes that the rubber nubs on the membrane slide into to hold it in place. They're a bit of a tight fit, so you may have to give each of the nubs a slight push or wiggle to get them to slide in. 2. To hold the two halves together on the oppo…
