About this model
Build an electric bike battery using reused cells. The cells come from electric scooter batteries, but they could come from any other type of battery. They are '18650' type cells. This case model is 3D printed. It allows connection to the motor (a Bafang model), and charging. The cells will then be welded, then integrated into the case, with a standard BMS available commercially (DALY BMS 13S 48V 30A). WARNING: Batteries are very dangerous. Beware of a swollen battery, do not pierce it. WARNING: You are and remain fully responsible for each of your actions. The chemistry of batteries and accumulators involves risks. Neither the organizers, partners nor the editors could be held responsible for any damage caused following the completion of this tutorial. ------------------------------------…
