About this model
Simple door catch to stop doors slamming. I designed this little catch because I had a couple of doors that slammed closed when I opened windows for a through draft. I've printed mine in ABS. First design has been in use for at least 4 months and is still going strong. V2 was a very slight redesign of the base plate for added strength if hit by vacuum cleaners. Disclaimer: Obviously this catch should not be used to keep fire safety doors open! Fire doors should remain closed whenever possible to prevent potential fires spreading.
