About this model
I designed this rotary axis to allow inserting and extracting the pen blanks easily without having to dis-assemble the mandrel. The spring-loaded idler allows for this operation. I hope the assembly document is sufficiently clear. This model has been tested on a converted Anet A8 laser engraver and fits well on the build surface and within reach of the laser module. The stepper for the rotary hooks into the Y axis of the controller board. Lightburn software is recommended if your laser engraver is supported. Please use all necessary precautions to stay safe while using any laser engraver.
