About this model

I made this to attach my RØDE NT-USB studio microphone to a monopod (SLIK monopod 350 featured in the images) to create a makeshift mic boom pole, rather than spending upwards of $20 on a machined brass thread adapter. This adapter has a 1/4" thread female connection, so it should screw onto most consumer camera accessories, like my monopod. In the configuration shown in the images above, the microphone should want to stay in the adapter socket, however I can't vouch for it's security in an upside-down situation, what with gravity and all...
