About this model
Valdiom posted a pretty legit Caul for pressing frets. I'd been using a cheap arbor press that I've had for some years now for some other projects. and as I was working on a project guitar i finally realized I could use it for this. I took the cauls designed by Valdiom and just added some mass behind them and a post to attach it to my press without needing the metal bit. The ones labeled "WIDE" are double the with at the mouth of the cauls. My thought process was you could maybe affix thin leather, neoprene or similar as padding to prevent marring the frets in case your print quality isn't perfect My first print settings so far-- 28% infill 5 walls, tops and bottoms Random Seal Layer Ironing all top surfaces The post oriented DOWN so the caul is facing up Supports needed 2 at these setting…
