About this model
Inspired to design and build this by a new friend. Pieces are cut and laid out for FDM and SLA printing. Designed using Autodesk Inventor. After printing test fit the prop pin, the base should get glued into the fuselage and the spinner cone should glue to the prop hub, when all that is said and done the prop hub and spinner should spin freely around the prop pin. Main landing gear covers includes up and down configurations. All dowels are the same size. Cowling might have a definite up and down side with dowel holes. FW-190 D8. I have started working on a second iteration with some improvements to detailing. Larger cuts for control surfaces and details, wing mounted machine guns changed to holes to allow for longer barrels to be installed. I also plan on including stencils for paint since…
