About this model
this is a mathmatically correct parabolic reflector designed specifically for the alfa atheros ar9271. This is popular hackers high gain wifi antenna. but this can be used with almost any external wifi antenna. I used a parabola calculator so there is a specific focal point for maximum gain. I personally gained appx 20% signal strength increase at appx 200' and through 3 walls. For the print, I suggest using a raft or skirt to help with bed adhesion. I used hot glue because it was quicker and easier. After printing, remove any buggers from the surface and appy Duct tape. as in the metal tape that it used for duct work. NOT DUCK TAPE!!!
