About this model
This part is a 1/4 NPT thread to a 5/8 hose barb fitting. This can be used for automotive applications like replacing the plastic KN&N intake fitting that breaks easily if not careful. This is not as strong as a metal replacement but it's just as strong as the plastic fitting that comes with the kit. I included two models one with long threads and one with a shorter thread. I had to use the shorter thread for my application but you may want the longer thread for yours.
