About this model
I redesigned this Y-axis motor mount after I realized how bad my Y-axis backlash was. This new mount has an extended front component that allows you to place an additional two screws for support. Then I created a new rear component that adds stability and support by attaching to the front component using an M5 * 16mm screw and nut. 2018/08/19 - Added an outside mount option. 2019/04/20 - Replaced the rear brace option with one that actually works! Thanks to 8Atena's remix for pointing it out. 2022/02/17 - It's been brought to my attention that this may not match the current height of the AM8 design. It will remain here on Thingiverse just in case someone can still use it.
