Take it off a cheaper used roadbike shoe ($0-$30?) off craigslist and stitch it over my almost new shoe. 2. Buy a much shorter sidi strap off ebay ( $9.99 that may or may not fit ? OR, 3. Simply copy the straps measurements from the other shoe, using FreeCAD design a new one and print it with ABS. For someone who hadn't ever worked on a 3d printer or ever designed on a FreeCAD, let alone printing ABS on a non-heated bed, #3 for sure was a far fetched yet a remote & an exotic idea.
