These icicle ornaments are the perfect project for your translucent filament. They are designed to be printed in in “vase” or “spiralize” mode to save on time and materials and to achieve the best optical clarity. See here for video: See here for stable download: Thread a wire or knotted loop of string through the hole in the “cap” and twist the cap on to the icicle. File name indicates approximate length of each icicle. Print the “Cap” in your standard printing mode. There are three version of the cap with increasing tightness. “Cap 1” is tight, “Cap 3” is looser. Depending on your hardware and materials you may find that one works better than the others.
