The stone sculpture next to the showcase shows Vishnu resting on top of Sesha the snake. With serenity he awaits the recreation of the world which is temporarily destroyed. The sculpture is from South India, c. 1100. Exhibited in the showcase is among other things Vishnu´s mount Garuda, half man, half eagle.
