About this model
All the stands for soprano sax (the smallest saxophone) in the shops were either very expensive, or universal stands for all types of saxophones, making them huge for such a small saxophone. So I decided to build my own. It is quite compact and stable. It consists of a base, an arm and two holders that are inserted into the arm. The infill doesn't need to be high (5-10% is ok). The holders need supports because they are a little curved, but not much. I put some small pieces of felt on them to make them softer. No glue is needed. The pieces are joined with 3 equal pins. If the pins do not fit well, print them a few millimeters larger or smaller. The tolerance with which I made it is 0.4.
