About this model
I really like the look of the square lens hoods done by Fujifilm like the LH-XF23. They come with a bit of a premium price tag though and only work with a bayonet mount. That's why I designed this customizable square lens hood which can be mounted to every lens which has a filter thread (so basically every lens). The design suits the overall style of the Fuji system. A friend of mine didn't even realize that it was printed when I had it on one of my lenses, which is a good thing I guess. How it works: Using the included SCAD file you can completely customize the design to your needs using the given parameters. When using OpenSCAD I highly recommend using the Manifold(new) renderer, which you can select under Edit > Preferences > Advanced. This drastically reduces the time needed to render …
