About this model
Over the years I have killed many a bonsai tree, so I thought I would make a fake one that could survive my handling. My initial go with it was to make a mini bonsai (2-3inches), for cute factor. I adore this thing. While I was at it I thought it would be a good opportunity to test it out as terrain for my kids minis. The leaves are from a cheap fake plant bundle from walmart attached with super glue. The terrain version (30mm) was painted the same, but used clumping foliage for the small scale. Printing: I printed mine on a resin printer, a mono X. Full print size is 60mm for the mini bonsai and 30mm for the terrain version. I haven't printed it larger. I've included the high resolution file I used to print on my resin printer as well as a lower res model for convenience.
