DISCLAIMER / WARNING This design is something that allows to quickly grip a thin rope and pull it tightly without hurting your hands. It features a opposing rows of one-way gripping teeth so that the harder you pull, the harder it bites into and grips the rope. To release the rope, the handle can be tilted forward while under tension, and the rope will slide out of the teeth. Alternatively you can sort of "peel" the rope back by starting at the top of the handle and pulling down to the base. Its important to pay attention to the angle of the handle during use, so as not to inadvertently let the rope go. I am considering adding some kind of guard at the top…
