About this model
This is a drop-in replacement for the very noisy three-fan cooling shroud used in HP OEM RTX 3080 graphics cards. I designed this shroud for the 120mm Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fan, but any 120mm case fan should fit. However, NF-A12x25 is recommended because of its high dynamic pressure and low noise. Regular case fans may lack the power to push enough air through the cooling fins. No alterations to the graphics card are needed, this shroud attaches with the same 5 screws as the original. HP RTX 3080 has two JST-PH 4-pin male connectors. Regular fan connectors won't fit without an adapter. It is possible to use motherboard's case fan headers, but for the best experience get two 4-pin PWM fan male to JST-PH 4-pin female adapters, and attach the Noctua fans directly to the GPU.
