About this model
This is for my cold-weather indoor training setup. I need a way to keep my phone charged while in use so I designed this phone mount with built-in charging pad. I clip my bike into a Saris M2 smart trainer and ride along with others in Zwift. In order to enhance the experience, I cast my phone's display to the TV in front of my bike, so that I'm not always looking down at the smaller screen. I need to keep the phone in front of me, however, in order to interact with the app, such actions as changing course, signaling other people, and so on. I went looking for a phone mount that would accommodate this. Also, I wanted a mount that would keep the phone charged. An hour riding session will take my phone from full charge down to around 60%.
