About this model
I wanted something simple, that wouldn't require going to the hardware store. It should be completely printable and not require any extra hardware, or anything I couldn't print, didn't have any extruded text on it or other eye sores, and was fairly easy to print without any piece taking too long. Compatible with the Ice Tower cooler, but you will have to have a custom mount for it. I directly mounted mine to the pi4 with screws, and did not use the standoffs/plastic tray that came with it. This is better imo, since you can tighten the cooler against the cpu very tight and use real thermal paste. The screws closest to the fan in front will need to be short to clear the fan, or use a 10-15mm deep fan instead of 25mm. printing with pla+ or pla2 is better, the harder plastic works better. Hatc…
