About this model
Model prototype of the Berlin World Time Clock (also: Urania World Time Clock) on Alexanderplatz. The model is 21 cm high and 12 cm wide and deep. In the original, the planets are different sizes - for the sake of simplicity, they are all the same size in the model, except for Jupiter. Printed in 0.1mm layer height with a 0.5mm nozzle. I had to print the rings very slowly - they are very delicate. Since some parts are glued on, you can also use a larger layer height. I aligned the parts appropriately for printing. It may be that the slicer reports errors - my program exports the surfaces the wrong way round - it shouldn't be a problem. I used the PrusaSlicer 2.6.1. Inside is a quartz clockwork.
