About this model
I wanted a smaller chess set, so resized this Man Ray down to 65%. As a result, the largest piece is about 16mm across. The pieces have also been modified to accept 2mm tall x 6mm wide magnets, so I can make it a vertical set. You can find these tiny magnets on Amazon for about $10. Look for "260Pcs 6x2mm Refrigerator Magnets". Magnets are held in place by a dot of super glue. Note that I made the insert 7mm across -- I did not do any cleanup. If I were to do these again, I'd probably do higher res and chop off the tops of the king and queen (remove the points).
