About this model
One helix spins "up," the other spins "down." Recommend using supports for the first 20 layers only, then no supports needed for the rest. This is just to increase bed adhesion. To keep print time reasonable, print at fast draft settings if possible. I used: ABS, 150mm/s, 4500mm/sAccel, 0.6mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height. Two or three walls, Zero infill. Still took ~5 hours, but it was worth the wait. There's a hole at one end for attaching a screw/bearing/other anchor. If this one's too fussy-looking for your yard, check my other model, which is a simple helix.
