Update: I'm happy with the knobs, and they work great for regular grilling (maybe a couple burgers with two burners on for 15-20 minutes). But one day I had all 4 burners going for 45+ minutes, and it seemed like the PLA was getting soft on the metal valve shafts. You might try ABS, PETG, or Polycarb instead. .... Replacement knob for the 2000 Series BeefEater Grill, styled to match the stock knobs. The original knobs have a piece of spring steel in them, which helps fit the knob to the shaft of the gas valve. I could not duplicate that feature, so I tried making a tight tolerance on the hole for the shaft. That kind-of worked, but because of small print-to-print difference, some of the knobs would not fit. Ultimately, I made the shaft hole in the knob slightly smaller, carefully heated th…
