About this model
This head is for the top of the tension mast on Brother knitting machines. It sits on the top of the mast rod and the tensioner fits into the slot and locks into place. There is the square hole that allows you to attach the sensor for the garter carriage as well. This is a commonly broken part and becoming rare to find original replacement especially with the spot for the garter carriage sensor. In designing this, I bulked it up a little from the original but fit it on my Brother 940 knitting machine verifying that none of the extra material would interfere with the operation of the tension mast or the garter carriage sensor.
