About this model
This is a tool post dial indicator holder for the metal lathe. It is a remix from @Blondihacks The following things were changed: - designed for my Mitutoyo dial indicator (2046a, but i think many other Mitutoyo indicators share the same housing). The fit is very snug, and the indicator can be pressed against the holder while being installed, thus guaranteeing the best positioning (no cosine error) - optimized the position of the indicator in relation to the tool post, for maximum reach on smaller lathes. - included a relief on the underside, to allow for lower indicator position (in line with the spindle axis on my 8*16 lathe) and tool post rotation.
