About this model
This adapter is used to take a retail Intel CPU fan and convert it into a quiet 80mm case fan. I had a bunch of these from computers built for friends that were unused and now have a use. I am not responsible for fan destruction. Use at your own risk. All of the fans I have tried fit, but it is possible the fan won't fit. Please measure before use. Fan blades are very close inside by design Basic Instructions: - Print bracket - Measure fan blade to make sure it will fit (Inside diameter is 78.6 mm) - Cut off the bottom mounting ring from the fan. make sure to cut just above the ring as the vertical tabs are used to glue in place. - Insert the fan in the bracket - Hot-Glue or super glue the 4 fan tabs into place (works best to glue after the fan is in) - Glue the wires in to place if needed…
