Was looking for a water dispenser for our chicken and found this one: But I didn't like that you had to glue the cap of a bottle into the dispenser for two reasons: A) I wanted to avoid PLA but print in PETG, to make the dispenser more withstanding to the outdoors - but PETG is hard to glue stuff to. B) when I go to the "trouble" of 3D printing stuff like this, I like to have it as ready-made as possible. So I simply looked for a PET bottle thread and found this one: Then I simply merged it to the original water dispenser design in Tinkercad and voilà - works like a charm for us! Just for ease of use for any fellow maker, I also remixed the very handy support ring with bracket (stolen from here: but made it adaptable in width to fit multiple bottle sizes.
