UPDATE: If you must, support may be used for the underside channel. Use a brim if it's coming loose during print. My CoreXY is 310mm and I used all of it. Zip ties are used in the padlock holes up front and through the hinge pins on the back to secure adapter to bottom. Found some really neat plastic ammo cans with a storage tray. (MTM AC4C Water tight, stackable, and cheap, the only downside is you can't fit 1kG rolls of filament in 'em. So I designed an extender that lets you do that. Also included is a set of rollers that fit 608 bearings ( and should let you dispense through a PG7 Waterproof connector (
