About this model
This is a base for the Gilbert Engineering Spiral mini tree. It is designed to be used with 1/2" conduit. the center shaft is 36" long and the 4 legs are 10" long. I used #8 3/4" self tapping screws to secure the leg ends and secure the legs to the base as well as the tree to the top cap and the base. The whole are very snug as to avoid wobble, I suggest using a small piper cutter to cut the EMT conduit as it will bevel the end and make it easier to slip into the base.
