About this model
This is a 3 part mold for making silicone heater socks for the FLSUn QQ printer. This should help control heating fluctuations. Dunk each mold part in VERY soapy water as a mold release agent. This should also help the silicone to cure. After assembling and bolting the mold pieces together with two M3 bolts, use an oral dosage syringe to inject the mold with high temp silicone gasket material. I let my parts cure for 24 hours, cracked the mold slightly to allow some air, and then cured for another 24 hours. If you can smell strong vinegar odor the mold is not finished curing!. Hope you find this a challenging and fun project, like I did. PS- Don't forget to do a PID tune on the hotend after installation.
