About this model
Yes a pass through patch panel isn't ideal. It does add an extra point of failure for each cable. But for those of you who really need it here is an 8 point version that can be mounted under a shelf. Couplers purchased from Amazon, link will be provided so you can buy the same. Suggest printing with Brim of 12-14mm if you are printing in ABS with reasonable ambient temperature and minimal water absorption in the filament. The image about was printed in 11c ambient temp with Rapter PLA that hadn't had the water removed. As a result the print is pretty rough. Version 3 is shallow depth not great for tying down the ethernet cables with zip ties (image provided). But the v4 allows enough room to properly zip tie the cables but I haven't printed it yet.
