About this model
This barn is one of two Saxon barns / byres designed for the 28mm wargaming scenery area, though of course this style will be suitable for pretty much any period through mediaeval and beyond - in fact 'til they started making barns out of metal frames. I have made two - this one for the upmarket landholder, probably those rich monks up at the monastery, and a second one for the more rustic market - same style but not so well squared timber, and with a thatched roof. And it's got a trough as well. The two will mix-and-match if you want, but I've kept them separate to avoid confusion. I've included a base but they'll free-stand just fine. As usual, thanks to Erik and Halfdan, the two viking Gripping Beast miniatures who stick their nose in most of my piccies.
