About this model
This design is still a work in progress... Custom Radio Frame and Duckett for NA Mazda Miata / MX-5. With only ever using the Bluetooth feature on the aftermarket headunit fitted to my MX5 NA, I decided to design my own "hidden" headunit. Main goals where: - instant bluetooth connectivity with my phone - volume up/down and skip track functionality - clean / minimalist look - high amperage / fast charge usb socket - large duckett / storage area to store mobile phone / wallet / etc - provision an analogue clock (still work in progress) Shout out to "undrwd", it was their Radio Blank Plate I used as a starting point for this design. To make it quicker and easier to print, I split the model into several parts and then glued them all together. The design bolts to the back side of the dash tombs…
