About this model
We needed buttons that worked with a 12mm x 12mm x 8mm Tactile Button Switch that would look better than the standard caps they came with and would be easy to insert into a control box. We liked the arcade button style, but we didn't want them quite so big... plus we found that too wide of a button didn't work well with the button switch. We remixed a design we liked, making the button smaller and able to snap onto the button switch. The piece that holds the switch is attached to the encasement, and the encasement is threaded so that it can be set into the box panel and tightened into place with the nut (like a standard arcade button).
