About this model

I own a Kershaw pocket knife (Ken Onion design #1660) with "assisted opening". Much to my dismay, the safety broke without me noticing it, which caused me to cut my hand in my pocket. This little lock only takes around 7 minutes to make and prevents little problems, such as slicing the mess out of your hand accidentally. I used a little teflon lube afterwards and adjusted the T6 torx screw to move freely. For what it's worth, this item is difficult to replace without shimming the backside flat, so that the screw can thread in.
