About this model
This design was made taking inspiration from Antoban's side spool design. Due to the lack of headspace in my room, I had to come up with this "Creality" style side spool design. The advantage of the design is it being "fastener-less". All the components interlock and provide rigid structure to hold 1kg spools quite comfortably. The filament is guided through a snap-on guide which attaches to the top extrusion. Thus, giving a better routing. UPDATE : The filament sensor has now been modifed to accomodate the runout sensor and the sensor cable routing stays the same. This design has a scope of further development. Please feel free to share your feedbacks or suggestions for the same. Thank you.
